Flashforge's Donation Campaign: Empowering Education with 3D Printing

At Flashforge, we believe in the transformative potential of 3D printing to enhance education. We are excited to announce the successful completion of the first phase of our donation campaign with the support of Flashforge customers, where we provided multiple Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro and Flashforge Adventurer 5M 3D printers to two primary schools in Lagos, Nigeria. Through our collaboration with Generative CAD Services Limited, we donated these advanced 3D printers to African Church Primary School and First African Church Mission Primary School.
Fostering Innovation and Creativity in the Classroom
This initiative, part of the Light of Africa Dream program, is aimed at empowering students by promoting hands-on learning and nurturing their creativity. By introducing 3D printing into the classrooms, we’ve provided students with the tools to think in three dimensions, helping them develop valuable skills for the future.

A Successful First Round of Donation
Our first donation event took place over two days and involved careful planning and collaboration. Together with the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) and Lagos State, we targeted schools that could fully benefit from the addition of 3D printing technology. As part of the initiative, teachers from both schools received comprehensive training on how to operate the 3D printers and integrate them into their lessons.

 Teacher Testimonials: A Positive Impact
The enthusiasm from the teachers was inspiring. Many expressed how 3D printing will revolutionize the learning experience for their students. Mrs. Bello Ibilola, a teacher at African Church Primary School, shared, “This technology will enhance student learning. While they’re used to 2D, teaching them about 3D objects will make learning more interactive. We’re so thankful for Flashforge and Generative CAD Services for making this possible.” Mrs. Yusuf JB, from First African Church Mission School, echoed similar excitement: “I’m thrilled to be part of this innovation. It’s a great learning experience, and I’ll be able to bring this new knowledge to my students. A big thank you to Flashforge and Generative CAD Services.”
Looking Forward to More Impact
The first phase of our donation campaign has had a significant impact, but this is only the beginning. Flashforge is committed to expanding this initiative. With more partnerships and sponsors, we aim to extend 3D printing technology to benefit more students and teachers across Nigeria and beyond. The positive feedback has been overwhelming, and we are excited about the future. We encourage other organizations, institutions, and governments to support this mission, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience the power of innovation and creativity.
